The Hills Supex Hoist is an ultra heavy-duty clothes line that is ideal for a large family wash, effortlessly managing a king size duvet. The Hills dryer is equipped with 35 metres of drying line that will hold a large amount of washing with the 3.27m turning diameter giving your washing a good fast drying time. This Hills dryer has strong easy clean steel core lines and an easy to operate hoist mechanism which can be raised and lowered by the winding handle. The head on this dryer can be adjusted from 1.68m to 2.12m and is on a 57mm main support pole. This Clothes Line is a fixed line which means the arms remain open and cannot be closed.
Please note: Below the dotted line, we recommend a 65cm hole into the ground to cement the rotary dryer in.

My previous identical one lasted 24 years and has been passed to my friend for his use. I now have a shiny new one and it will still be there when I am not. p.s. the parts are totally interchangeable with the old one. Full marks to the Laundry company for arranging quick delivery over the holiday weekend.
The product is very substantial but I should have investigated more before ordering. It remains in place (concreted into the ground) where I was expecting to remove it when not in use. The arms remain up all the time unlike other rotary dryers whose arms collapse when not in use. My own fault.
The line arrived promptly but was in pieces. Quite a jigsaw! It is very substantial and takes a lot of construction, including concreting in a base tube to slot line into. We’re still in this process, so haven’t used the line yet. NB. The line is very tall, even when slotted into a base 18ins in the ground. I am rather short (about5ft) and would not have been able to put clothes on this line, at its lowest height!! We have cut off 6 ins from the base so that I can, just, reach the lowest height. So if thinking of purchasing this item a very adept husband, good at DIY, is helpful/essential to set up this product.

Good solidly made product, easy to install once a suitable hole has been made. Not so easy to dig a 8inch diameter by 30inch deep hole in our patio to cement in the base !!! but that was nothing to do with the rotary dryer.
