The two interior recycling containers lift out without difficulty for uncomplicated emptying. I would never have thought that one day I'd be writing a review about how pretty a bin is but look where I am! I've got one of these as my main bin and it does what it's meant to do and looks good doing it. I use the bluer inner bin for all of my plastics and that and the other one I use for general waste that you can't recycle. It's helped me with my recycling habits and I'm glad that I've started doing it again!
